As a Sound Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, clarity, and reliability of sound systems for various events, productions, and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sound Setup: Set up and install sound equipment, including microphones, speakers, amplifiers, mixing consoles, and related components, for events, concerts, presentations, and productions.
- Sound Operation: Operate sound systems during events, performances, or recordings, ensuring balanced and high-quality sound output according to technical requirements and artistic preferences.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues and malfunctions related to sound equipment and systems promptly and efficiently.
- Sound Design: Work closely with sound designers, directors, and producers to create and execute sound designs that enhance the overall experience of events or productions.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and calibration of sound equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Quality Control: Ensure that sound equipment and setups meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, such as lighting technicians, designers, and event organizers, to achieve seamless audio-visual experiences.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of sound equipment, track usage, and assist in equipment procurement as needed.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients, performers, and event organizers, addressing sound-related inquiries and concerns.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of sound equipment inventory, maintenance activities, and sound plots.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 of experience in sound setup, operation, and maintenance for events, concerts, productions, or similar projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various sound equipment, including microphones, speakers, mixing consoles, and digital audio workstations.
