Integrated Management Systems (IMS): ISO 9001: 2015 & ISO 45001: 2018

DOREMi has established, documented, implemented and maintained an integrated management system (IMS) according to the International Standard ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S) with Guidance for Use since 2008. DOREMi plans and controls each process in the IMS to ensure the delivery of quality products and services to the clients, as well as maintain an acceptable level of health and safety standards.

Quality Policy

Service quality and clients satisfactions are the priority of Team DOREMi. DOREMi has been complying with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS), a globally recognized standard that outlines the requirements for implementing and maintaining an effective quality management system in the workplace. It has helped DOREMi to improve customer satisfaction, enhance product and service quality, and increase overall efficiency to ensure that our products and services meet or exceed customer expectations. By following ISO 9001 QMS procedures, DOREMi has established a culture of continuous improvement and is constantly seeking ways to improve our quality management system to better serve our customers.

Systematic

DOREMi has developed a process flow chart to ensure the work is carried out systematically.  After the confirmation of the event plans between sales representatives and clients, the operation staff will arrange the event by issuing the weekly show list and liaising with technicians for manpower and transport arrangements. On the event or the delivery day, the technical team or sales representatives will go and see the person in charge of the client site to arrange and liaise for the event and function. And no worries, our technician teams will always stand by to communicate with clients on technical issues until the event is completed.

Competency

Remaining competitive is crucial for DOREMi in serving our clients. By adhering to ISO 9001, DOREMi is constantly looking for ways to improve our products and services. DOREMi recruits personnel based on competency requirements to ensure that our staff can carry out tasks according to the needs of the clients. 

DOREMi also prioritizes ongoing education and training for our employees to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to stay competitive in their roles. When the new and existing personnel need more competency, necessary training will be provided.  

Other than ensuring our employees are updated with the new technologies and skills, operation teams also monitor and measure our equipment and sub-contractors’ equipment regularly according to the calibration that complies with national and international standards.  

To make sure DOREMi can stay ahead of the competition and continue to grow and thrive in event production management industry, the management holds a review meeting regularly to identify external and internal issues faced by the company, needs and expectations from interest parties, changes in legal requirements, risks and opportunities, customers’ feedback and IMS performance, etc.

Communication with clients

DOREMi places a high premium on client satisfaction. Hence, we constantly communicate with clients related to products and services, inquiries and order handling. While receiving enquiries from clients, sales representatives will review the adequacy of customers’ requirements to ensure that DOREMi delivers the best services and equipment to clients. We also provide the latest catalogues to our clients serving as a communication tool. Besides, we proactively access and evaluate customer satisfaction with the services and products offered by DOREMi.

Health and Safety Policy

DOREMi has implemented ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S) procedures to ensure that our employees work in a safe and healthy environment. 

ISO 45001 OH&S is an internationally recognized standard that outlines the requirements for establishing, implementing, and maintaining an effective health and safety management system.

Workplace Safety 

By implementing ISO 45001 OH&S procedures, DOREMi has identified and assessed workplace hazards and implemented controls to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries. 

ISO 45001 OH&S also requires us to establish effective communication systems to ensure that our employees are aware of health and safety policies and procedures, and to provide them with the necessary tools and resources to carry out their jobs safely. 

Hence, DOREMi inculcates safety awareness in employees by providing education and training to ensure they carry out their tasks safely. 

The projection person in charge or supervisor will carry out workplace inspections by referring to the inspection checklist before the installation work starts to ensure the safety of the employees and the public. 

The technician supervisors will ensure the safety precautions are adhered to, such as safety measures where applicable, safety gear and safety meetings are provided to staff when work involving any danger is carried out. The same safety measures apply to contractors and visitors.

Emergency Responses Plan

An Emergency Response Plan (ERP) is set to ensure that employees, responders and external support parties are aware of and understand the procedures and their responsibilities when facing emergency circumstances. The plan is essential to minimise the severity of impact in an emergency. 

DOREMi has established and reviewed routinely appropriate emergency response plans to prepare for potential health and safety emergency situations. 

DOREMi also has established a set of procedures to record, investigate and analyze the incident occurred. The cause of incidents will be investigated and necessary procedures to reduce the risk and impacts would be executed.

Rules and Regulations

DOREMi always adheres to governmental and mandatory requirements. 

Safety Management Representatives and Safety Committee of DOREMi identify and have access to relevant rules and regulations, codes of practice and safety guidelines that are applicable to the health and safety aspect of the activities.

DOREMi constantly evaluate our compliance with applicable legal requirements and other requirements such as Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 (Act 514), Road Transport 

Act 1994, Occupational Safety & Health (Notification of Accident, Dangerous Occurancem Occupational Poisoning & Occupational Disease) Regulations 2004, Factories & Machinery Act 1967 to ensure that our employees work in a safe and healthy environment.
