Culture can travel far beyond its home. On 5 September 2026, travellers passing through Kuala Lumpur International Airport had the opportunity to experience a glimpse of Sabah’s vibrant cultural heritage through the Sabah Fest 2026 Pocket Show.

And behind this cultural showcase was a team helping bring the live experience together; DOREMi, as the AV Partner for Sabah Fest 2026.

Held at both KLIA Terminal 2 from 11am to 12pm and KLIA Terminal 1 from 4pm to 5pm, the pocket show brought elements of Sabah’s cultural celebration directly to travellers moving through one of Malaysia’s busiest transportation hubs.

For DOREMi, being part of this programme was more than simply providing audiovisual support. It was an opportunity to contribute to an event that connects culture, tourism, live performance and technology in an environment where audiences are constantly moving.

Sabah Fest is an established cultural tourism celebration that dates back to 1988, created to showcase the arts, traditions and stories of Sabah’s diverse communities. The 2026 edition carries the theme “A Cultural Extravaganza”, with a programme designed to bring Sabah’s culture closer to communities and visitors through performances, interactive activities, demonstrations, food, arts and other cultural experiences.

The official Sabah Fest programme lists Kuala Lumpur as one of its featured locations, with the KLIA 1 and KLIA 2 programme taking place on 5 September.
